Holiday

So I've been on holiday from work for the last 2 1/2 weeks. We've had a week away, I've spent a few days in the garden sorting out the boy's play area but I return to work next tuesday, it's not finished and the tonne of rubber chippings that was supposed to be delivered today now won't be here till Monday.

Oh dear.

I didn't really want to be moving that the day before I return to work. Oh well!

Olympics

The Wife, the Boy and I went shopping at Westfield Stratford City on Tuesday. It was the first opportunity I had to get really close to the Olympic Park. Now, I've been interested in the Olympics since we won it but I was never really bothered about going - I certainly wasn't interested in doing Transport there. Now though, since I've been close and also seen a quite a few athletes as well, I must admit I'm disappointed about not going.

Anyone got two free tickets going? :)

Time just don't stand still...

Life is going far too fast. I bumped into a friend todaywho I hadn't seen for a while - turns out it was 4 1/2 years!

Some people...

There are some people on this planet who will do anything to screw up other peoples lives. I have the misfortune to work with someone like this. It's s a shame but what can you do???

A quiet evening

The wife and her sister have gone to see NKOTBSB at the O2 so I've a quiet night in with my son. Had a perfect opportunity to get on with the Revell Routemaster but didn't really feel in the mood. Oh well, it's not going anywhere!

One to Ponder

Why do I never go to bed early on my day off? It's a perfect time to catch up on sleep especially as the wife is off tomorrow as well. She's out tomorrow night with her sister, they're going to see NKOTBSB at the O2. How nice...!

A new beginning...

9 1/2 hours at work, one moody 18 month old and one slightly unhappy wife. No change there then!
