Time Off for Good Behaviour

I've been enjoying a week off work. It's been lovely!

Early Duties

Early duties are fun. After two days of 3.20am starts, I'm knackered! Only four more days to go and then two days off.

Chantel's not well. She's got a really nasty cold which is knocking her flat. Get well soon sweetheart!

I'm still here. I just haven't got round to posting anything yet!

The Past Week....

Has been interesting. My car broke down on the way to work and I just about managed to get there and back. I had a auto diagnostics guy come out, plug his machine in, read the codes, tell me there is nothing wrong with the car, charge me £65 and leave. Funnily enough, I haven't had a problem since!

Thursday I went Christmas shopping in Bluewater with my gorgeous wife Chantel. Spent a minor fortune but actually got the family sorted in one day! A few other bits and pieces were ordered from Amazon and other online shops which have also arrived. Just have to wrap them now!

Saturday was a day spent in London. Borough Market for lunch - I can thoroughly recommend Roast To Go. Their roast pork and apple sauce in french stick is to die for! We then headed to Oxford Street so Chantel could look in a few stores and I headed into Carphone Warehouse. I thought about upgrading Chantel's mobile, asked the question and an hour or so later after several false starts, one massive argument with a stroppy lady at Three customers service over a PUK code, she has a new mobile on Vodafone!

Back to work today and I'm on 1435-2240 Monday to Friday. Not my favourite job but at least the second half of the job is nice and quiet and hopefully they've finished the road surfacing at Hackney!

Oh boy...

I have the nastiest cold I have ever had at the moment. I feel absolutely awful. My face aches, my right eye hurts. My nose is permanently bunged up and I'm fed up. It's not swine flu as I don't have a temperature. Thankfully, I've finished work for the day and I'm not back in now till Tuesday. Joy....
